Don’t you just love it when the weekend rolls around? As a person who works full time it’s what I live for! I think of so many things I want to try during the week that its overwhelming…and then I try to get it all in during the weekend, it usually doesn’t happen LOL.
On this particular weekend I snuck off to my craft room to try a few things and came up with this little paperclip project for my new Planner! I decided to start a planner/journal to collect the ideas I come up with during the week, this way I don’t forget them. Also then I can plan out what I want to try and what supplies I need to make them.
Banner Paperclip Directions
First of all, start by cutting out all the pieces in the file. You’ll need a cutting machine such as a Silhouette or Cricut. I have the Silhouette Cameo and love it! I would highly recommend it, the possibilities of what you can make are endless!

Below is a link to Amazon.com if you would like to purchase the item used to make this paperclip. 2 Crafty Little Sisters are affiliates of Amazon.com and receive a small commission from any sales…at no additional cost to you. This helps fund the items we use to create our tutorials. We would be honored and grateful if you purchase through us. Thanks!
Take your 3 banner pieces and layer them overlapping a bit to make it interesting. Glue them together.
Fold over the straight edge 1/2″.
Insert a paperclip and glue the flap down.
For the front, punch out a scallop circle with a 1-1/4″ punch.
I glued on a little burlap flower and it’s ready to help me out in my planner!
