I just love these pre-printed watercolor sheets from Carolee’s Adornit series. I cut them into 3 x 4 inch squares and there are all ready to go along with my colored pencils. They are the perfect size to tuck into my purse and practice my coloring when I am sitting in the airport or in the car on a long trip.
And they make the cutest cards for any occasion. I hope these inspire you to try them out. Enjoy!

Carolees Adornit Today is the Best Card directions:
Base card: Cut a piece of GP Image Plus+ White Cardstock 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches, score at 4 1/4 and fold.
I used the Carolee’s Adornit Today is the Best watercolor sheet and cut the images 3 x 4 inches.
I used my Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils, Soft Core, 72 Count to color the image and used some coordinating ink to smudge the edges of the watercolor paper.
I cut a piece of contrasting cardstock, in this case a dark blue to place behind my colored image. I cut the piece 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inches.
Now for the rest of the card. For my first layer I used some Stampin Up cardstock I had in my stash. I cut the piece 4 x 5 1/4 inches.
For the next layer I used some coordinating cardstock from Stampin Up and stamped a flower stamp from Polkadoodles Eleganza Stamp Set. I cut the piece 2 x 5 1/4 inches.
I glued this piece to the top of the 1st layer. And then glued both layers to the top of the base card.
And then glued the image to the top of this layer.
And here is the finished card!
Here are a couple of more cards made from images on the same sheet.
