Need a little gift box for a nice cocoa treat?  Or any other beverage you can think of?   I made this adorable cup holder for gift giving… the cup with a cocoa package, a pepperming stick and chocolates and its ready to give!

First of all, start by cutting out the holder piece.   You’ll need a cutting machine such as a Silhouette or Cricut.  I have the Silhouette Cameo and love it!  I would highly recommend it, the possibilities of what you can make are endless!

You’ll need a scoring board, I have the Martha Stewart Crafts Scoring Board and Envelope Tool and love it!
Score down the sides even with the 2 pieces that extend and the edge of the cut lines.Cocoa Cup Gift Holder free SVG file - 2 Crafty Little Sisters
Score across at each cut line.

Your piece should look like this

Fold along the score lines to get them flexing.  Put tape on the two small flaps closest to the back piece.

Fold the next flap pieces up and adhere to those.

Take the next set of flaps and tape the same way, fold in and adhere.

The last flap gets tape put on the inside then fold and adhere, tucking the little flap inside.

Next cut a piece of cardstock 8″ x 3-1/2″, score at 4″ and fold in half.

Your box is ready to decorate!
Wrap a ribbon around the base and tie a pretty bow in front.
Cut a piece of designer paper 3-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ for the front, and 2 pieces 2-3/4″ x 1-1/2″ for the sides and adhere to the box.
Cut a piece of designer paper 3-1/4″ x 3-3/4″ for the front of the back piece and adhere.
Cut a piece of cardstock 3-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ and adhere on crooked for a fun design.
Using a bigshot run a decorative die through and adhere to the front!
Next I ran a piece of cardstock 2-1/2″ x 1-1/4″ through my rectangle die with stitches
I ran a piece of white 1-1/4″ x 2-1/2″ through my bigshot using a smaller rectangle die.
I stamped it with a Hero Arts Coffee Cup stamp.
I adhered both to the front of the box, filled a coffee cup with goodies and its ready to give!
