Falling Leaves Slider Card Free SVG and Tutorial – 2 Crafty Little Sisters

Falling Leaves Slider Card Free SVG TutorialFall is my favorite time of year…I love the colors and weather here in Minnesota, the summer heat is over and crisp weather is at hand.  Today I got to go down to my craft palace to play with pretty fall colored paper.

This is a card I created during my playtime today, I thought a slider card would be perfect for fall leaves, and I love using Kraft paper!

I started with a Kraft paper card blank, 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
Next I cut a piece of designer cardstock from BoBunny – Double Dot Designs Collection –  Vintage – Burnt Orange 4″ x 5-1/4″  and used my slider die to cut the hole for the sliding leaf.

I punched a bunch of leaves in varying colors using a Maple Leaf Punch.

Then I used my Silhouette to cut out the larger maple leaf that spins down the card.   You’ll need a cutting machine such as a Silhouette or Cricut.  I have the Silhouette Cameo and love it!  I would highly recommend it, the possibilities of what you can make are endless!

You can download the SVG file for the Maple Leaf here.

Lay the leaf face down and stick a dimensional foam piece on the back, trimmed down to a circle that fits inside the slot.

Now adhere a penny to the foam.

Line the back of the piece with dimensional foam squares and adhere it to the front of the card blank.

Glue the punched maple leaves randomly to the bottom of the card.

I used the stickers from BoBunny – Take a Hike Collection – 12 x 12 Cardstock Stickers – Combo for the Happy Fall letters…  and voila!
