Thanksgiving is almost upon us…I’ve been busy planning the menu and doing some baking. I love the smell of pumpkin bread baking, it’s a sign to me that the Holidays are here!
During my craft time today I created this beautiful card, perfect for a loved one who you won’t be able to see for Thanksgiving.

Give Thanks Card Free SVG Tutorial
Start out by cutting out all the pieces in the file. You’ll need a cutting machine such as a Silhouette or Cricut. I have the Silhouette Cameo and love it! I would highly recommend it, the possibilities of what you can make are endless!
Download the pumpkin free svg file here and cut out all the pieces.
Next I shaded the edges with my ColorBox Chalk Queue Ink Pad and assembled.
One tip I’d like to impart…after trying many types of glue I recommend Art Institute Glitter Designer glue, it dries clear and has a little give, a lot of glues I’ve tried once you lay it down you can’t move it…this is a fast drying glue but you can move it around right after you place it and I rarely get my pieces perfect the first time LOL. I use it with the Art Glittering System Ultra Fine Metal Tip for a more precision placement.
Last I added some highlight lines with a white Uni-ball Signo Angelic UM-120AC Gel Ink Pen 0.7 mm.
Take a piece of Kraft cardstock, 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″.
Cut a piece of designer paper 5-1/4″ x 4″ and shade the edges with ColorBox Chalk Queue Ink Pad. Adhere this to the front of the card blank.
Cut a piece of Kraft cardstock 5″ x 3-3/4″.
Tie a piece of bakers twine around the piece and tie a bow on the front.
Adhere to the front of the card.
Cut out the Give Thanks free svg file.
Glue the letters to the front of the card, I cut them from orange paper and dabbed them with red chalk paint to give them a little dimension.
Glue the pumpkin piece to the front of the card, stamp the inside with your favorite sentiment and your card is ready to give.
