Mummy Jar Tutorial

I started with a little jar from Tim Holtz

I took white cardstock and tore strips of paper about 1/2" wide.Halloween Mummy Jar Tutorial - 2 Crafty Little Sisters

I shaded the edges with my ColorBox Chalk Queue Ink Pad.

I started gluing the strips onto the jar making sure all the ends were in the back of the jar.

Keep layering till you like how it looks.
I grabbed a couple google eyes in different sizes....I'm not sure what size they are as here is what I have to choose from LOL.

Here are the approximate sizes.

Glue them to the front, my preferred glue is Art Institute Glitter Designer Dries Clear Adhesive, 2-Ounce

I took the lid and glued black ribbon around it.

Then I tied a knot in a piece of black ribbon and glued it to the front.

Next I ran a Spellbinders Nestabilities Mega Dies through my Big Shot to make a tag.

I stamped the tag and fussy cut a black background slightly bigger.

Then I poked a hole through the corner.

Put some bakers twine through it, tied a knot and sprayed it with Shimmer Spritz Spray, Sparkle.

I glued the tag onto the lid behind the knotted ribbon.

I filled my jar with candy corn...
