Hello Snowman Card – Lawn Fawn – 2 Crafty Little Sisters

Hello SnowmanI wanted to send some cheery Hello cards to my family back north.  As they are plowing thru winter and the cold and the snow I used the Lawn Fawn Frosty Friends stamp set to make this card.

I love the bold colors I used with my copic markers.  And filled in the trees with some white snowy garland.

The kids might even find a little treat inside in the form of a gift card.

Cute card to brighten their spirits and a gift card to treat themselves.  A win win! LOL

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a great day.

Hello Snowman Card directions:

Base card:  Cut a piece of  kraft cardstock  4 1/4 x 11 inches, using my scoreboard, score at 5 1/5 inches and fold.  This makes a top folding card.

I took a piece of scrap Neenah Classic Crest cardstock to stamp my snowman from the Lawn Fawn Frosty Friends stamp set.  I also stamped the hat and scarf.

Hello Snowman

Using the Lawn Fawn Large Dotted Rectangle die and the Lawn Fawn Small Dotted Rectangle I cut out a frame shape.

Hello Snowman

I cut a piece of Neenah cardstock slightly smaller than the frame.  I used the Lawn Fawn Happy Trails stamp set to stamp the tree.

Hello Snowman

I used my Signo White pen to add some garland on the trees.

Hello Snowman

Hello Snowman

I used Art Glitter glue to glue the hat and scarf and the frame.

One tip I’d like to impart…after trying many types of glue I recommend Art Institute Glitter Designer glue, it dries clear and has a little give, a lot of glues I’ve tried once you lay it down you can’t move it…this is a fast drying glue but you can move it around right after you place it and I rarely get my pieces perfect the first time LOL.  I use it with the Art Glittering System Ultra Fine Metal Tip for a more precision placement.

Hello Snowman

For the hello sentiment, I used the Ranger Letter It Greetings stamp set.

Hello Snowman

I used my copic markers to color my stamped images.

The best price I have found for Copic markers is at Blick Art Material Company.

Hello Snowman

I wanted my snowman to pop up from the page so I put some foam tape across the back of the snowman.

Hello Snowman

I also put some foam tape on the back of the framed layer to have it pop from the base card.
