Rainy days are the perfect time to craft…there is no guilt that I should be outside tending my flower garden or getting something else done. A quick clean up of the house and I can spend the rest of the day in my crafty getaway place.
This is a card I created during my playtime today, I love using watercolor pencils to color in my stamps.

Daisy Daisy Birthday Card Tutorial
I started with a white card blank, 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
Next I cut a piece of designer cardstock 4″ x 5-1/4″ from Daisy Daisy and adhered to the front of the card blank.
The flower was made from Daisy Daisy Stamp and Cut. I stamped it on white cardstock and colored it in, then cut it out using the die cut and Big Shot.
The technique for coloring the flower can be seen in this video.
I used Spellbinders Shapeabilities to make the banner, I cut out a banner from yellow and one from brown and stamped the front.
I cut a piece of brown cardstock 3-1/2″ x 2-3/4″
And a piece of yellow cardstock 2-1/2″ x 3-1/4″
I glued the yellow piece on at an angle, glued the flower and leaves onto the front, wrapped brown ribbon around and tied a brown bow to the front.
Adhere the banner and the flower piece to the front of the card and stamp the inside with your favorite sentiment!
