Fall is my favorite time of year, love all the colors in the leaves! I love this adorable stamp set from Lawn Fawn called Jump for Joy, it reminds me of being a kid, raking up a big pile of leaves and jumping in! How could I not make a slider card for the little hedgehog jumping into the leaves.
I love using watercolor pencils to color in my stamps. You can find a video on the technique I use at the end of this post.

Lawn Fawn Jump for Joy stamp set Fall is Here Card Tutorial
I started the project by stamping the designs onto white cardstock using my new Tim Holtz Stamping Platform which I’m finding awesome! I then colored in the stamped images with colored pencils using the technique in the video below.
The technique for coloring the image can be seen in this video.
I took a piece of Kraft paper, 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″ and folded.
Next I cut a piece of blue cardstock 4″ x 5-1/4″.
Next I shaded the edges with my ColorBox Chalk Queue Ink Pad.
Next I used my slider die to cut the hole.
I took a dimension foam square and cut it into a circle to fit into the slide.
Peel off one side and adhere it to the penny.
Place the penny behind, peel off the paper on the other side and stick it to the hedgehog.
I used my Lawn Fawn grass die to cut out the hillside.
I used a couple green distress crayons to color on the hill to give it some dimension.
Then adhered it to the front of the blue piece.
I took a piece of dark brown cardstock, laid the branch stamp on it to trace around and drew the shape of the tree, then cut it out and flipped it over and glued it to the front of the card.
I adhered the leaves, rake, and owl to the card.
I took a piece of white cardstock and cut it into the shape of a cloud, I chalked the edges of the cloud with blue chalk paint and used a pom pom to color in some blue edges on the cloud center. I glued it to the front of the card.
I stamped “Fall is Here” onto the corner of the card front.
On the back of the card I placed dimensional foam pieces.
Now you can adhere it to the front of the card blank and stamp the inside with your favorite verse!
