Having just got over the cold bug I seem to have caught the scrapbook planner bug. Must be from all that surfing around the interweb while I was sick. Found a few blogs that had posts about their planners and it got me hooked.
So I started my research into which planner would work for me. I considered the Heidi Swapp planner, the Carpe Diem planner and the Create 365 Happy Planner.
I decided that the Big Happy Planner was going to work for me. The Big Planner has just come out and measures 8.5 x 11 inches, the regular Happy Planner measures 7 x 9 1/4. I wanted the bigger space to work with.
I bought the Southern Charm Happy Planner and the calendar that is included in the planner starts in July 2017 and goes thru December 2018. So I bought the undated 6 month extension pack so I could put in May and June 2017 and get started right away.
And of course, I also bought some cute stickers to get my obsession started. LOL Who can resist all those wonderful unique stickers that are out there. Not me! I just thought of that right now, I need to get a cute little bin to hold my new sticker collection.
I went to Hobby Lobby and bought some of my goodies there. Just to get me started LOL
Create 365 Happy Planner Size Comparison
If you are a visual person like I am here is some pics to show the different size planners, regular and big.
I did purchase the 6 month extension pack.
In the calendar extension pack I just took out 2 months and added them to the planner. The pack comes with 2 sticker sheets so I put May and June on the tabs.
Next I got started setting up my weekly pages for the month of May and June. The number stickers did the trick and I got it all set up and ready to go.
Put the days stickers on. All ready to start journaling.
Now I can start filling in my days and do a little journaling to remember the day by. We leave for France on Wednesday so I will be able to add some pictures to the planner page also. I have a Canon Selphy Photo Printer and I love that little guy. It is so fun to watch it printing out your pictures. Watch for a future post highlighting the Selphy printer.
