I stumbled on these cute little clear boxes while I was poking around Amazon the other day and thought these would make the cutest little party favors to handout to friends and family at Halloween.
And of course I had to immediately make a trip to WalMart to grab some more candy corn and mini butterfingers to fill them. I should have know better. I mean really, I know I have a big big weakness when it comes to candy corn so why I didn’t just buy 2 bags instead of one I have no idea. Cause I had to make a 2nd trip to the store to get some more! LOL
And the mini butterfingers didn’t make it past the first full night in the house. And I need to make it perfectly clear that I was not the culprit for the nefarious heist of the oh so yummy butterfinger bars. Nope that would be the other person who lives here. No names will be mentioned but it was the hubby of 31 years that did it, NOT ME.
That’s my story and I am stickin to it. LOL
We hope you enjoy making these cute little treat boxes cause we sure did. Enjoy

Sizzix Trick or Treat Clear Box instructions:
I bought my 2 x 2 inch Clear Boxes from Amazon to use for my party favor treats.
Cut a piece of cardstock 1 1/2 x 9 inches long. Score at 2, 4, 6, and 8 inches and fold. Using coordinating cardstock and ink stamp and die cut the trick or treat logo.
I used my Wink of Stella – Clear to trace the letters to add some glitter to the logo.
The belly band is all ready to go around the clear box.
Now onto the bow topper.
Coordinating Bow instructions:
For the coordinating bows on top of the clear boxes:
Cut on piece of cardstock 1 x 5 inches.
Cut a coordinating piece of cardstock 1 x 3 inches.
I used my We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board to make the bows.
I cut some super skinny strips about 1/3 x 6 inches. I used my scissor blade to get them to curl.
Take the 1 x 3 inch strip and using the envelope punch board line up the strip at the 1 1/2 mark and punch a notch on both sides of the strip.
Center the end of strip and cut a notch on each end.
This will be the base of your bow.
Take the 1 x 5 inch strip and line is up at 2 1/2 inches and press the button to notch each side.
For each end put the strip in half way under the punch and notch. Flip the strip over to do the other side.
Here is what the finished strip should look like.
Now to assemble the pieces to make the bow. I took the bow piece above and curled it around a pen. And curled it around to the back and glued it in place. Do the same to the other side.
Here is what the box should look like glued to the bottom piece.
I used my scissor blade to curl the skinny strips and then glued them to the middle of the bow.
I used the Nuvo drops to put a drop into the middle to cover up the curly strips where I had glued them to the bow. You could also put a rhinestone or pearl.
Here is a closeup of the finished Sizzix Trick or Treat Clear box party favors.
I used the following Nuvo drops to add some pizazz to the corners of each front. On the black I used the Jewel Drops Grey Mist (these are translucent). The orange background I used Crushed Grape and the purple background I used Ripened Pumpkin.
