I’ve been having a lot of fun with my Christmas in July ideas! When I saw this stamp set I knew I had to have it, I couldn’t wait to use it to make this card.
I colored the stamp with watercolor pencils and used Gamsol to blend them, you can find the youtube video on the technique I used at the bottom of the page, its so easy!

Tri-fold Christmas Card Tutorial
Start by stamping the stamps onto white cardstock and coloring them. I used watercolor pencils and mineral oil to blend the colors in. The video on how I do this is below.
Cut a piece of white cardstock 10″ x 5-1/2″.
Score across 3-1/4″ in from each side.
Adhere the snowman to the outside of the right flap.
Trim the pieces as shown.
Adhere the mailbox piece to the left flap and trim the edges as shown.
Your card should look like this.
Next cut out the trees from the sizzix die and adhere them to the back of the card.
Trim the die to fit the card.
Place the house piece onto the card as shown.
Cut a piece of white cardstock 1″ x 1-3/4″ and stamp with the sentiment.
Cut a piece of green cardstock 2″ x 2-1/2″.
Glue the white onto the green and adhere to the inside of the card.
Run a tape strip in the center, 1-1/2″ up from the bottom.
Cut a 16″ piece of ribbon and adhere it centered on the card.
Center the card onto the green page and tie the ribbon in a bow!
The technique for coloring the flower can be seen in this video.
